The Pickleball Leaders Workshop has been designed for Clubs and schools throughout New Zealand to have a structured way of introducing players to the fundamentals of the game rather than throwing new players straight into a game against seasoned players.
The role of the Pickleball Leader is an important one. You will likely be one of the first contacts a new player will have to the game. It is important to give any new player a great first Pickleball experience in order to grow a club, as well as develop and spread the game further throughout New Zealand.
The goals of the course are:
- to have an underlining principle of FUN;
- to standardise methods of introducing players to the game;
- to provide opportunities for juniors to experience the joys of the game;
- to be inclusive to all.
